It has a 3d screen which no nintendo consoles ever had
It's backwards compatible with the ds and dsi
it has themes
it was the first ever console to introduce the nintendo eshop and also the first console with a shop using real currency instead of points
you can mod it
it has an awesome community (not like the orc)
8. there are 3–4 variants of the 3ds
Alex has a 3ds
worser than the wii u but it at least outsold it
it has streetpass and spotpass, a new feature to communicate with other 3ds’s
